True Expertise
Our founder, Steve Thomas, has been designing and installing bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms across South Wales since 1990. His vast experience and hands-on approach have shaped a reputation for practical, elegant interiors that work for real lives — and now, that expertise is being channelled into truly accessible living spaces through our dedicated Accessible service.

Professional Collaboration
We actively collaborate with Occupational Therapists, local authority teams, and healthcare professionals to ensure our designs are not only functional, but clinically sound and compliant. Our flexible process means we can involve professionals at any stage — from assessment through to installation — helping deliver the right outcome for each individual.

Design Studio Built for Accessibility
Our Treforest Design Studio has been reimagined to reflect the needs of real people living with restricted mobility. It includes an accessible parking bay, a lift to our first-floor studio, and a fully working FREEDOM kitchen with rise-and-fall worktops, pull-down units, and more.
This is your space as much as ours. Whether you're an OT, case manager, or private client, you're welcome to bring someone along to try out the features, make a cup of tea, and get a feel for how independence can be restored — all without any pressure or sales pitch.

Symphony FREEDOM Range
We’re proud to be one of the first companies in Wales to install the Symphony FREEDOM Range — a revolutionary kitchen system designed specifically for accessible living. With electric rise-and-fall counters, pull-out tables, smart storage and seamless style, FREEDOM empowers individuals to cook, socialise, and live independently in their kitchen.

4D Visual Planning
Using our immersive 4D visual design technology, we create detailed, walk-through plans that show exactly how your accessible kitchen or bathroom will look and function. This makes it easier to understand the layout, test accessibility ideas, and involve family members or care professionals in the planning process — with complete clarity and confidence.

End-to-End Service
At Thomas Vaughan Ltd, we believe in doing things properly. From your initial enquiry to the final handover, you’ll have a single, expert point of contact who understands your needs and manages every detail. We supply, fit, and finish each space with absolute care — ensuring it’s not just accessible, but safe, stylish, and built to last.
